Smart infill cohousing is the future of housing in both urban and rural environments. Mandated as Passive House certified and tax credit eligible this 32-unit project is lead by Cohousing ABQ with NEEDBASED, Surroundings of Santa Fe and RMKM of Albuquerque providing primary services. It’s a great team. We anticipate using prefabricated primary components. An optimized residential standard unit has been developed early in the design process in response to client priorities. The integrated planning process has reduced risk, identified barriers, and developed a solution meeting both environmental and economical sustainability requirements.
