As a LEED for Homes pilot project, this was our first using an ERV, our second green roof, and a bunch of other green building checklist items. We had a great HERS rater, and we learned a lot. This was concurrent with our work developing LEED certified, affordable housing for Homewise inc. of Santa Fe. Combining commercial steel roof decking with salvaged beams, the building gently cascades from upper to lower programming as they open out to the twinkling lights of Santa Fe below.
