A dynamic tension shade structure built in celebration of the life and community of Paulus Berenson. A remarkable potter, Paulus lived and worked in the Penland School of Craft community located in the northwestern Blue Ridge Mountain Range of North Carolina for almost 50 years. His compassionate and empathetic approach to craft impacted the face of the craft movement in North America. Prioritizing process and presence over product and monetary values. The attached video from Penland has some nice footage of the area and their programs.
